The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao tries to close the distance and clinch but Chin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've been informed that Chin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Chin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brandao manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

After winning the bout, Diego Brandao thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
