PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor McGuinness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuinness has chosen Ain't a party without me as his entrance music. Connor McGuinness will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Lei pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lei tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lei looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
McGuinness shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lei eats them both and turns towards McGuinness to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
McGuinness scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

McGuinness lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lei with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McGuinness to score with a decent uppercut.

McGuinness walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lei drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! McGuinness swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lei's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Connor McGuinness tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
