Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lee Kagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne McGain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kagawa comes to the cage accompanied by Radio Ga Ga. Wayne McGain is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kagawa attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kagawa goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kagawa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A clash of legs there as McGain blocks the low kick.

McGain decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kagawa is trying to maintain the position but McGain is very close to passing his half guard.

Kagawa tries to lock up and control but McGain gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

McGain jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kagawa manages to avoid the submission attempt.

McGain decides to stand back up. McGain steps back and let's Kagawa get back to his feet.

and McGain counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Kagawa!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McGain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kagawa can pounce on him.

Kagawa and McGain are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Kagawa throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking McGain into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Kagawa knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
