Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Rozwal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesco White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rozwal's entrance music is TYLKO ONA JEDYNA. A fine choice. White is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Smoke the Fire. Jesco White is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lukas Rozwal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 20 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesco White!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rozwal misses with a low kick.
White shoots in for a takedown but Rozwal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
White has a takedown stuffed.
White lands a head shot.
Rozwal misses with a lunging right hand
and White counters with a head kick.
White moves out of range of the body kick.
White stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
White lands a jab-cross combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rozwal has a takedown stuffed.
White tries to score with a low kick but Rozwal moves his leg out of the way.
Good leg kick by Rozwal there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
White moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

White fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rozwal to the ground. White is now in Rozwal's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
White slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

White stands and steps away. Rozwal gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rozwal avoids a punch combination nicely.
White misses with a few strikes there.

White has Rozwal up against the cage in a clinch.
White tries to pull guard but Rozwal holds him up against the cage and eventually White drops back down to his feet.
Lukas Rozwal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesco White.

White pulls guard effortlessly.
White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rozwal's guard.
White is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rozwal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground.
White throws an elbow that misses. Rozwal uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by Rozwal!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Rozwal trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rozwal trying to stand up but can't free himself from White's guard.
Rozwal looking to sit in guard and control but White gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

White stands up and waves to Rozwal to follow him.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White moves away from the strike by Rozwal.

White shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

White decides to stand and escape the position.
Rozwal misses with a hook to the body

and White counters by moving into the clinch.
White is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rozwal to keep the fight standing.

White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rozwal takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A left and a right from White both land. Nice combination.
Lukas Rozwal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White rushes Rozwal and presses him up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rozwal.

White breaks the clinch.
White shoots in for a takedown but Rozwal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Rozwal gets tackled into the cage by White. White maintains the clinch.
Rozwal gets underhooks to prevent White's takedown attempt.

White pulls guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
White keeping moving, preventing Rozwal from controlling successfully.
White is controlling Rozwal's posture.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rozwal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
White looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesco White dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A nice leg kick lands there from Rozwal.
Rozwal misses with a body shot.
Rozwal takes one on the button.
White throws a head kick that misses.
White pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rozwal back to the cage. White follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Rozwal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
White swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rozwal throws a body shot but no joy.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rozwal enables White to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rozwal manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
White throws an elbow that misses. Rozwal uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by Rozwal!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
White tries to land a sweep but no joy.

White has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Rozwal has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Nice elbow from Rozwal.
Rozwal fails to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rozwal has had enough of the clinch but White keeps him there for the moment.
Rozwal swings wildly with an uppercut but White uses good head movement to avoid it.
White lands with a short head shot on the inside.

White breaks from the clinch.
White buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
White misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rozwal goes for a double leg but White avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as White continues to drive forward.

White manages to break the clinch.

White decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
White moves into full mount! Rozwal won't be happy about that!
Jesco White has got the better of the ground game so far.
White takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
You get the feeling that Rozwal really doesn't like being in this position too much.
White lands a couple of good shots and Rozwal has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
This has been an exciting period of action!

White is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Rozwal is defending well though. White let's go of the attempt for now.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Let's hope that White has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

White working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Rozwal is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and White has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Rozwal taps out!
