Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase is looking to clinch but Kula is avoiding it.
Chase shoots in but no luck this time.
Chase is looking to clinch.
Chase slips under a jab from Kula.
Chase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chase uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kula.
Kula connects with a body shot that sends Chase's belly button to the back.
Kula's jab looks to have found its range, popping Chase under the eye.
Kula lands with a cross.
Kula misses with a right hand
and Chase counters with an inside leg kick.
Chase takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Chase takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chase moves out of range as Kula strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Kula, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chase shoots in but Kula avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kalle Kula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kula throws a combination that misses
and Chase counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kula misses with a straight left.
Chase misses with a takedown
and Kula counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jefrey Chase. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chase takes one on the button.
Chase will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kula dips to his left and cracks Chase with an uppercut!
Kula scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Kula digs a good hook to Chase's body.
Chase dodges the punch combination from Kula.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chase takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jab, jab by Kula - just one landing.
Chase feints and then cracks Kula's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kula down.
Kalle Kula is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kula throws a jab when Chase was well out of range.
Kula jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nice cross by Kula.
Kula swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chase.
Chase is rocked!
Chase takes one on the button.
Oh Chase is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kula has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Chase misses with a combination
and Kula counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chase thinking.
Chase seems to have got his legs back now.
Chase is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kula works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kula feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Chase sprawling to the canvas! Chase rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kula finish him?!
Chase takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
and Kula counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Chase! He's just covering up as Kula starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kalle Kula!
