Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brent Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crob Torny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crob Torny has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brent Perkins's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brent Perkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Crob Torny!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torny moves into the clinch successfully.
Torny wants to take the fight to the mat but Perkins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Perkins is looking to control Torny's arms but Torny gets an underhook and turns him. Now Perkins has his back to the cage.
Torny goes for a takedown in the clinch but Perkins prevents it.
Torny gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Perkins.
Torny is looking to control Perkins's arms but Perkins gets an underhook and turns him. Now Torny has his back to the cage.
Torny has had enough of the clinch but Perkins keeps him there for the moment.

Torny is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Perkins pulls his head out easily.
Perkins stops Torny from getting back to his feet.
Perkins is looking to take a break and control but Torny is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Perkins uses his free foot to push down on Torny's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Torny.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perkins is stalling here but it's allowed Torny to get half guard.
Perkins seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Torny is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Torny is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Perkins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Torny defends it well.

Perkins decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Perkins for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Perkins tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Torny is trying to push Perkins away but Perkins has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

A frustrated look appears on Torny's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Perkins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Torny jumps guard but Perkins turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Perkins looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Torny tries for a takedown but Perkins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Crob Torny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torny shoots in looking for a takedown but Perkins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Torny's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Torny lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perkins circles away quickly and effectively.

Perkins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Torny tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Perkins is in Torny's guard.

Torny is working an open guard so Perkins takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Torny is breathing heavily.
Torny moves in looking to clinch but Perkins pushes him off.

Perkins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Torny shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Perkins as he jumps to the side.
Perkins darts in looking for a takedown but Torny gets double underhooks and turns Perkins into the cage.

Perkins breaks from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Torny throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perkins.
Torny scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Perkins has a takedown stuffed.

Perkins closes the distance and clinches up with Torny, looking for a takedown. Perkins pushes Torny against the cage but Torny circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Torny drops down looking for an ankle pick but Perkins pulls his leg out and moves away.

Perkins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Torny can do to turn this around?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Perkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
