Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mose Mcfarland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Manyshots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfarland moves in looking to clinch but Manyshots pushes him off.
Mcfarland takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Manyshots throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcfarland was covering up waiting for the punch and Manyshots finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mcfarland strikes from his own guard.
Mcfarland is looking to stand back up but Manyshots counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mcfarland.
Manyshots is trying to control the action in half guard but Mcfarland is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Mcfarland is looking for a sweep. Manyshots is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manyshots wants to control but Mcfarland is keeping him busy.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mcfarland controls Manyshots momentarily but Manyshots frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mcfarland shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Manyshots as he avoids it easily.

Manyshots looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mcfarland!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Manyshots stands up and beckons Mcfarland to his feet.

Manyshots feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mcfarland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mcfarland is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mcfarland is working for a kimura but Manyshots is defending it quite comfortably.
Manyshots tries to get to full guard but Mcfarland has control of the leg.
Manyshots is trying to maintain the position but Mcfarland is very close to passing his half guard.

Mcfarland is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Manyshots defends it well.

Mcfarland is trying hard to land a takedown here. Manyshots sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mcfarland dives in for a single leg takedown but Manyshots sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Manyshots has Mcfarland pressed against the cage, preventing Mcfarland from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Manyshots jumps guard and drags Mcfarland to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
