Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arlen Bullock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arlen Bullock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bullock circles away quickly and effectively.
Bullock shoots in but Hunt avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bullock swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hunt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bullock sprawls well initially but Hunt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bullock is trying to maintain the position but Hunt is very close to passing his half guard.
Bullock keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Hunt prevents Bullock from improving his position.
Hunt tries to pass to full mount but Bullock defends it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunt keeps trying to improve his position.
Hunt sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Bullock trying to control but Hunt postures up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hunt is looking to advance position but Bullock won't allow it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bullock missing with a left hand there. Hunt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hunt throws a leg kick but Bullock sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bullock shoots in but no luck this time.

Hunt drives through with a takedown into Bullock's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hunt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bullock is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hunt tries to free his leg and advance position but Bullock is retaining full guard.

Hunt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hunt wants to stand but Bullock has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hunt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jack Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hunt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bullock is looking to improve his position.
Hunt is looking to stall here but Bullock recovers full guard.
Bullock will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hunt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hunt is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bullock swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Hunt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bullock sprawls well initially but Hunt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hunt is controlling the pace.
Bullock is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bullock is trying to control but can't.

Hunt wants to pass to mount but Bullock is defending the position.
Bullock is in trouble now - Hunt has advanced to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bullock wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hunt.
Bullock is looking to improve his position but Hunt isn't that keen on the idea.

Hunt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bullock is looking to escape.
Hunt has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hunt has hold of Bullock's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bullock manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bullock is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Hunt misses with some ground and pound and Bullock recovers position to half guard.
Hunt seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bullock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jack Hunt has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bullock misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Bullock tries to get to full guard but Hunt has control of the leg.
Hunt wants to control but Bullock is keeping him busy.
Hunt stalling.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Bullock looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bullock fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hunt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bullock tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hunt is in Bullock's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Hunt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Hunt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bullock is trying to defend but Hunt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bullock manages to get to full guard.
Hunt trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Bullock manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hunt is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Hunt pulls guard.
Hunt is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Hunt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bullock is aware though and is defending well.

Hunt is working an open guard so Bullock takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hunt comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Hunt counters by clinching up.
Bullock trying to control the position but instead, Hunt has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bullock into the cage.
Bullock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hunt is defending well for now.

Come on Hunt - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Hunt lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Bullock is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hunt is controlling him.
Bullock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hunt is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hunt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bullock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hunt stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Bullock gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hunt to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hunt gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nice sprawl there from Hunt as Bullock shoots in.

Hunt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bullock!
Arlen Bullock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jack Hunt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Hunt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
