Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricardo Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Bronson!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclean shoots in but Bronson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mclean misses with a jab to the body
and Bronson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bronson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mclean defends well and Bronson ends up having to push Mclean into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bronson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bronson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bronson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bronson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mclean defends well.

Bronson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Mclean is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Bronson tries to circle away but Mclean has him pinned against the cage.
Bronson lands a left hand.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Bronson jumps guard but Mclean stands there with Bronson around his waist. Bronson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bronson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Mclean is pressed up against the cage. Bronson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mclean down to the mat. Mclean avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mclean swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bronson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

It looks like Ricardo Mclean has been cut.
Bronson tries for a takedown but Mclean manages to get underhooks.

Mclean tries to throw a body punch but Bronson avoids it by throwing Mclean back against the cage.

Mclean throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bronson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bronson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mclean as he jumps to the side.

Mclean is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Bronson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mclean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bronson on the ground.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bronson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mclean tries to avoid it but Bronson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mclean to the ground. Mclean escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Mclean bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Mclean swings around for an armbar but Bronson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mclean's guard.

Bronson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Well Bronson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
