Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Noisy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dereck Catone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noisy doesn't manage to clinch there - Catone circles away.
Noisy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Noisy shoots and misses

Noisy wants to get back to striking at distance but Catone won't allow it.

Catone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Noisy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Catone is pulling down on Noisy's head to control his posture.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Catone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Noisy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Noisy misses with a series of wild punches.

Catone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Noisy's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Noisy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Catone won't allow Noisy to sweep him here.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Noisy will probably get the nod.

so Catone counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
