The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hicks misses with a two punch combination.

Kawai thuds a left hand into Hicks's body.
Hicks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kawai manages to avoid it.
Hicks shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kawai throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hicks misses with a double jab.
Kawai jabs at Hicks's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hicks avoids the head kick by Kawai.
Hicks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hicks pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hicks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
