Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Floyd Mullins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Domino Kennedy!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullins feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kennedys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kennedy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mullins is trying to pull guard but Kennedy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Kennedy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kennedy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A jab from Kennedy finds it's way through Mullins's defenses.
Kennedy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mullins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
BOOM! Kennedy lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mullins. Mullins tries to recover but Kennedy is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mullins lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Domino Kennedy!
During a confident post fight interview, Domino Kennedy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
