The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by McCormick.
Callaghan throws a shot from downtown. McCormick moves away and avoids it.
Callaghan scores with a jab to the head.
Callaghan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McCormick doesn't seem bothered though.
McCormick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Callaghan throws out the jab.
Callaghan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Callaghan tried to score with a low kick but McCormick checks it.

McCormick tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Callaghan's elbow.

Nice body punch from Callaghan - that landed with a thud.
McCormick blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

McCormick tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

McCormick walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Callaghan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Callaghan walks forward, straight into a front kick from McCormick.
McCormick throws a leg kick that is checked
and Callaghan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McCormick avoids the body shot from Callaghan.
McCormick blocks a low kick nicely.
McCormick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
McCormick is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Callaghan lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

A relieved looking Richard Callaghan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
