Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Kesler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lipton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Kesler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lipton Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kesler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jackson manages to get back to half guard.
Kesler trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Jackson tries to roll over but Kesler keeps him under control.

Jackson kicks Kesler off and gets back to his feet.
Jackson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kesler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard.

Kesler gets to his feet. Jackson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jackson looks gassed!

Jackson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kesler is trying to stand back up but Jackson is controlling him

Jackson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kesler knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Jackson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jackson stops Kesler from getting back to his feet.
Jackson is keen to just control but Kesler is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jackson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kesler clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jackson's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Jackson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kesler knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kesler for a finish.

and Jackson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kesler thinking.

Jackson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Jackson is thwarting Kesler's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kesler stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Lipton Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kesler shoots in but no luck this time.

Kesler is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jackson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jackson has escaped and now he's on top!

Kesler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jackson stays in close to Kesler's body and controls the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson wants to stand but Kesler is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
