Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicol Bolas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Green enables Bolas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Green manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Bolas trying to control but Green is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bolas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Green's guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bolas lands a nice short elbow.
Bolas is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bolas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Green with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've been hearing that Bolas has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Bolas postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Green out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Bolas goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
