Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rikiya Sonoda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonoda throws a head kick that Duncan semi-blocks.
Rikiya Sonoda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duncan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sonoda on his heels. He'll look to pass Sonoda's guard now, I'm sure.

Sonoda thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Duncan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sonoda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick from Sonoda lands but Duncan takes it in his stride.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duncan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sonoda swivels and escapes.

Sonoda lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duncan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sonoda defends it nicely.

Duncan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sonoda gets the underhooks and prevents it.
