Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davor Langerholc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Koponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koponen throws out a leg kick but Langerholc moves out of range and Koponen only half commits.
Koponen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Koponen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Langerholc keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Koponen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Koponen misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Langerholc takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Koponen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Koponen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Langerholc's waist but Langerholc gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koponen off to one side.

Koponen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Langerholc looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Koponen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Langerholc is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Koponen wants to stand but Langerholc is controlling his arm.

Koponen seems to be working for a kimura but Langerholc defends the submission attempt.

Koponen wants to stand and escape but instead Langerholc has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Langerholc wants to control from the top but Koponen keeps moving.

A pretty intense looking Abel Koponen took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
In defeat, Davor Langerholc stepped up to the mic, saying 'My vengeance will be torture and murder.'.
