Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Epeli Nailatikau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Olszewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nailatikau comes to the cage accompanied by Number of the Bollywood. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Epeli Nailatikau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kamil Olszewicz!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Olszewicz.
Kamil Olszewicz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nailatikau lands a nice leg kick that just misses Olszewicz's sensitive parts.
Olszewicz just misses with a punch to the body.

Olszewicz pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nailatikau back to the cage. Olszewicz follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

No joy there for Olszewicz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've been told by Nailatikau's head coaches at Team Finland that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Nailatikau bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Olszewicz's head.

Nailatikau decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Olszewicz is looking for a sweep. Nailatikau is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Olszewicz tries to hold on but Nailatikau postures up.
Olszewicz is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Nailatikau is staying active.

Nailatikau jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Olszewicz is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Olszewicz and Nailatikau has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Nailatikau working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nailatikau is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Olszewicz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Olszewicz looking for a sweep but Nailatikau has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Olszewicz prevents Nailatikau from taking his back.

Nailatikau working for a guillotine from mount but Olszewicz is in no mood to give up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nailatikau goes for an armbar but Olszewicz turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Olszewicz.
Olszewicz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nailatikau is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nailatikau bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Olszewicz's guard.

Nailatikau wants to control from the top but Olszewicz keeps moving.

Nailatikau drops back, looking for a kneebar! Olszewicz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Olszewicz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Olszewicz!

Nailatikau gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Epeli Nailatikau will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Olszewicz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nailatikau manages to avoid it.
Nailatikau tried to score with a low kick but Olszewicz checks it.
Olszewicz misses with a wild combination.
Kamil Olszewicz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Olszewicz misses with a series of wild punches.

Olszewicz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nailatikau ducks under a wild hook from Olszewicz.
Nailatikau cracks Olszewicz with a good jab.
Nailatikau tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Olszewicz defends well and Nailatikau ends up having to push Olszewicz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nailatikau is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Olszewicz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Nailatikau tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Olszewicz is trying to control but can't.

Nailatikau in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Olszewicz tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nailatikau!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Epeli Nailatikau!
An out of breath Epeli Nailatikau thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
