The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yager scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Roesch feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yager's calf.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Roesch, right into the meat.
Roesch connects with the punch.
Yager throws a lazy right hand but Roesch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Roesch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've been informed that Roesch has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Yager blocks a head kick by Roesch.
Roesch throws an overhand right that lands on Yager's shoulder, as Yager tries to avoid the shot.

Roesch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Roesch throws a big uppercut that drops Yager! More strikes from Roesch and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Yager lies dazed against the cage as Roesch celebrates with his cornermen!
