The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grey moves into range and clinches up with Taylor.
We've been informed that Taylor has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Taylor shoots in looking for a takedown but Grey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Taylor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've been hearing that Grey has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Grey is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Taylor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Taylor has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close round but I would say that Sasha Grey will probably get the nod.

Grey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Taylor.
Taylor shoots in for a double leg but Grey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
