Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Geraldo Bowen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joshua Miller!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a leg kick but Bowen sees it coming and moves out of range.

Miller gets a double leg takedown into Bowen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Bowen.
Miller wants to control from the top but Bowen keeps moving.
Miller wants to stand but Bowen is controlling his posture from full guard.

Bowen is looking for a triangle but Miller pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller is stalling in the full guard.
Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Bowen.
Bowen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Miller is looking to work some ground and pound but Bowen has wrist control.
Bowen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.
Miller sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bowen's guard.
Miller trying to mount his opponent but Bowen defends it.
Bowen trying to hold on to Miller's head to control him but Miller postures up.
Miller controlling the action here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bowen tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control.
Miller is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bowen takes a swing at Miller's ribcage but misses.
Miller throws a quick inside leg kick.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Bowen pushes him off.
Bowen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.
Miller looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Miller circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Bowen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Miller follows Bowen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joshua Miller!
