Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between AB Sly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temeura Muss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sly comes to the cage accompanied by In Flames - My Sweet Shadow. Muss has chosen New Noise as his entrance music. Temeura Muss is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Temeura Muss!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sly moves into range and clinches up with Muss.
Muss tries to pull guard but Sly holds him up against the cage and eventually Muss drops back down to his feet.

Sly breaks from the clinch.
Sly misses with a series of wild punches.
Muss blocks a head kick by Sly.
Sly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Muss tries to clinch up.
Sly blocks a head kick by Muss.
Sly throws a nice looking combination but Muss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sly misses with a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muss stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sly.
Muss looks gassed!
Sly keeps the fight on the outside.
AB Sly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oooh a lovely combination from Sly sends Muss down but not out. Sly dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Temeura Muss has been cut.

Sly decides to stand back up.
Sly cracks Muss with an uppercut from hell and Muss crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Sly's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Muss is rocked!
Muss has a closed guard, preventing Sly from standing up.
Sly controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Muss throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sly uses it to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muss is trying to improve his position.

Sly moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Sly decides to stand back up. Sly steps back and let's Muss get back to his feet.
Sly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sly misses with a series of wild punches.
Sly throws a head kick that Muss semi-blocks.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Muss throws out a loose jab but Sly uses good head movement to avoid it.
Muss takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Sly throws a series of punches but Muss avoids them all with ease.

Muss fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
AB Sly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sly lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sly.

Sly throws a head kick but Muss moves out of range.

The fighters circling - Sly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Some bone on bone action there as Muss checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Sly drops Muss with a beautiful combination! Muss stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sly is looking for the KO!

Sly lands a nice hook to Muss's body. Muss takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Sly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Muss paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sly goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Muss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sly is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Muss misses with a takedown attempt - Sly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Sly.

Sly feints and then cracks Muss's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Muss down.
Muss has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sly finds it's way round the side to connect with Muss's head.

Muss drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sly looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sly looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sly!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sly sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Sly prevents Muss from getting the reversal.
Sly tries to control but Muss wriggling away.
Sly takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sly, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
