Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chi Lewis Parry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trunk Slamchest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parry moves out of range of the strikes.

Parry looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Parry throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Slamchest works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slamchest managing to control the position.
Parry loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Parry wants to control from the top but Slamchest keeps moving.

Slamchest is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parry is in close to Slamchest's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Slamchest looking for a sweep. Not yet Slamchest, not yet.
Slamchest really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Parry drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Parry passes Slamchest's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Parry seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slamchest does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Parry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Parry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Slamchest defends it well.
Parry wants to control but Slamchest is keeping him busy.

Slamchest is trying to stand up here but Parry is controlling him well.

Parry stops Slamchest from getting back to his feet.
Slamchest trying to get back to full guard but Parry takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slamchest is squirming around, avoiding Parry's attempts to control the action.

Parry can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slamchest is looking to escape.
BOOM! Parry connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Parry cracks Slamchest with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Parry avoids the attempt from Slamchest to control.

Parry lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Slamchest tries to hold on but Parry pushes him away.
Slamchest is bucking up trying to escape but Parry cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Parry controlling the position easily from mount.
Parry scoring with strikes but Slamchest is staying in there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Slamchest tries to lock up and control but Parry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Parry fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Parry avoids the attempt from Slamchest to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chi Lewis Parry dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Slamchest lands a left and a right that send Parry crashing to the mat, dazed. Slamchest thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Chi Lewis Parry has been cut.

Slamchest drives through and clinches with Parry against the cage.
Slamchest goes for a takedown attempt but Parry pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Slamchest jumps guard but Parry stands there with Slamchest around his waist. Slamchest gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Slamchest wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Parry tries to pull guard but Slamchest holds him up against the cage and eventually Parry drops back down to his feet.
Parry wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chi Lewis Parry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Slamchest misses with a low kick.

Parry shoots in for a double leg but Slamchest sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Parry forces Slamchest back against the cage and clinches.
Slamchest has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Parry after a bit of a struggle.

Parry tightens his grip and picks Slamchest up, before dumping him to the ground. Slamchest manages to land in guard.
Chi Lewis Parry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Parry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slamchest dives on top into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Trunk Slamchest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Slamchest looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slamchest rushes Parry with punches - Parry moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Parry goes down! Slamchest follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
