The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson takes a swing at Vesnar's ribcage but misses.
Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
Vesnar lands a high kick!
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vesnar tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vesnar scores with a sloppy right hand. Johnson should have avoided that one.
Vesnar shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely.
Vesnar takes the fight into the clinch.
Vesnar pulls guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Johnson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Johnson seems to have locked his on tight now - Vesnar screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Johnson, as he picks up the win!
