Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rayvan Marenia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Polo's choice of entrance music: On The Floor. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marenia's calf.
Polo dives in and grabs Marenia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marenia pushes down on Polo's head and hops out.
Polo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Polo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Marenia moves into the clinch.
Marenia wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Polo has him pressed against the cage.
Polo avoids the elbow strike from Marenia, against the cage.
Polo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rayvan Marenia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Polo.
Polo has Marenia pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Marenia manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Marenia stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Polo tries to break free but Marenia pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Polo wants the takedown. Marenia is fighting it off but Polo persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Marenia's guard against the cage.

Marenia is pulling down on Polo's head. It's preventing any offense from Polo, at least for the moment.

Marenia wants to sweep here but Polo controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Polo wants to control from the top but Marenia keeps moving.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Marenia keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Polo moves out of range as Marenia strikes.

Marenia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Polo shoots and misses
and Marenia counters with a nice double leg into side control. Polo won't be happy with that.
Marenia wants to control but Polo is keeping him busy.
Marenia has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Marenia throws some wild stikes that Polo manages to avoid easily.
Polo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Marenia content just to control the position here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Polo tries to lock up and control but Marenia gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rayvan Marenia dominated that round.

and Polo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Polo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Marenia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Polo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Marenia pulls down on the head and he's put Polo to sleep! This one is all over!
