Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dominic Whitney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zippy Bungle!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bungle moves into the clinch successfully.
Whitney is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bungle is defending well for now.
Whitney jumps guard but Bungle stands there with Whitney around his waist. Whitney gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Whitney tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bungle's elbow.
Bungle has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Whitney uses from the top position.
Bungle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Whitney can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Whitney throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Whitney has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whitney avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bungle is pulling down on Whitney's head. It's preventing any offense from Whitney, at least for the moment.
Bungle is continuing to stall.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Whitney drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bungle regains half guard.
Whitney missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Whitney throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bungle to regain full guard.
Bungle wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Whitney has taken Bungle's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Bungle has been forced to tap!
