PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dion Simon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radovan Dragovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dion Simon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Radovan Dragovic!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragovic misses with a wild body shot.

Dragovic has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Simon is proving hard to escape from.

That was a close round but I would say that Dion Simon will probably get the nod.

Simon is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Simon gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Simon gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Simon apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Simon shoots in for a takedown but Dragovic shows good takedown defense.
Dragovic misses with a takedown attempt - Simon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dion Simon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dragovic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Simon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Simon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

I would just about give that final round to Radovan Dragovic.
I think Simon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
