The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilly throws a nice looking combination but Trujillo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A shot to the liver by Gilly. Beautiful body shot.
Gilly is looking to clinch but Trujillo is avoiding it.
A punch combination from Trujillo misses.

Trujillo moves into the clinch.

Gilly ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gilly no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Trujillo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Gilly kicks Trujillo off and gets to his feet.
Gilly missing with a left hand there. Trujillo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gilly steps in with a hook that catches Trujillo right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gilly follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Trujillo looks absolutely devastated.

Dave Gilly decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
