Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Fon Gadov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Druff is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Awol Nation - Sail. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Druff fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fon Gadov to the ground. Druff is now in Fon Gadov's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Druff scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fon Gadov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Druff manages to get to full guard.
Druff wants to sweep but no luck.
Fon Gadov works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Druff felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fon Gadov tries to free his leg and advance position but Druff is retaining full guard.
Druff pulls Fon Gadov in close to his closed guard and prevents Fon Gadov from doing any damage or advancing position.
Fon Gadov is looking to pass into half guard but Druff pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Druff is in guard.

Druff has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Druff seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Druff fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fon Gadov avoids it really well and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fon Gadov is rocked!

It looks like Marvin Fon Gadov has been cut.
Druff controls the action.
Oh Fon Gadov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Druff tries to get the hooks in deep but Fon Gadov pushed the leg off.
Fon Gadov seems to have got his legs back now.
Druff is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Fon Gadov. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Druff keeps control of the position easily here as Fon Gadov tries to buck him off.
Druff cracks Fon Gadov with a big right hand from the back mount! Fon Gadov immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Druff takes this one by TKO!
