The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulse throws a series of punches but Sorentino moves out of range.
Sorentino dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sorentino keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pulse throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pulse misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pulse looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
An inside leg kick from Pulse misses.
Pulse tries to bum rush Sorentino with a series of wild strikes but Sorentino uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pulse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sorentino.
Pulse misses with an uppercut
and Sorentino connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pulse's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sorentino under the eye.
Pulse walks into a straight right hand from Sorentino.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ben Pulse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pulse swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pulse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sorentino stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sorentino with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pulse to score with a decent uppercut.
Pulse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sorentino was well out of range. Poor timing from Pulse.

Sorentino loads up on a big right hand but Pulse slips the punch.
Pulse thuds a left hand into Sorentino's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sorentino takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Pulse looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
A slow jab from Sorentino misses its intended target.
Sorentino moves forwards but Pulse connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sorentino is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pulse.
A right-left combo lands from Pulse.
Sorentino bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Pulse lands a big right hand that sends Sorentino crashing to the mat! Pulse stays standing though and waves Sorentino back to his feet!

Pulse lands an uppercut, right on the button! Sorentino tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
