The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champ Iv cracks Fitzpatrick with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fitzpatrick wants to clinch.
Fitzpatrick bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Fitzpatrick counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Champ Iv gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Champ Iv can't find room to land a body shot as Fitzpatrick controls the action.
Champ Iv scores with a shot to the side of Fitzpatrick's head.
Fitzpatrick tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Fitzpatrick swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fitzpatrick misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fitzpatrick tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Champ Iv avoids it.
Fitzpatrick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Champ Iv walks away with a smile on his face. Fitzpatrick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Champ Iv swings for the body but Fitzpatrick moves out of range.
Fitzpatrick blocks a leg kick.
Champ Iv lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Champ Iv throws a low kick but it's checked well by Fitzpatrick.
