The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrorist tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Proud manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Proud does no damage.

Proud has managed to clinch.
Terrorist scores a nice knee to the body.
Proud can't get the takedown.
Terrorist prevents a body shot from Proud.
Proud has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Terrorist is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Proud avoiding damage as Terrorist throws knees to the body.
Proud tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Terrorist smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Proud. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Proud bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Proud is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Terrorist is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Proud asserts his dominance and retains side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Terrorist can do anything to dispel that myth.

Terrorist tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Terrorist wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Proud drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Terrorist 's chin! Terrorist is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
