Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Budawalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Balboa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marius Budawalski!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budawalski connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Balboa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Budawalski.

Balboa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Balboa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Budawalski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Balboa has managed to get both his arms back between Budawalski's legs - danger averted.
Balboa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Budawalski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Balboa pushes Budawalski off and scrambles back to his feet.

Balboa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Budawalski finds it's way round the side to connect with Balboa's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Budawalski throws a body punch but Balboa moves out of range.
Budawalski clobbers Balboa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Balboa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Budawalski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Balboa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Budawalski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balboa circles away quickly and effectively.

Budawalski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Balboa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Budawalski, into his guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Marius Budawalski will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Balboa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Budawalski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Balboa is aware though and is defending well.

Budawalski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Balboa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Budawalski is looking to stand up but Balboa isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Budawalski has his foot on Balboa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Balboa works his way back into a safe position though.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Budawalski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Balboa is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
