The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe looks to land a right hand but Rodriguez moved out of range.
Doe lands with a good body shot.
Doe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Sweat Lodge in the buildup to the fight.
Doe misses with a body kick.
Rodriguez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A solid leg kick lands there for Doe.
Rodriguez shoots in but Doe avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rodriguez has his takedown stuffed
and Doe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rodriguez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Doe on his heels. He'll look to pass Doe's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doe has his feet on Rodriguez's thighs here. He's pushed Rodriguez off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Rodriguez screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
