Maksimov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ironman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Maksimov does no damage.
Maksimov misses with a low kick.
Nice sprawl there from Maksimov as Fletcher shoots in.
Maksimov closes the distance and clinches.
Maksimov prevents the takedown attempt.
Maksimov decides to pull guard.
Maksimov wants to stand up but Fletcher is controlling him.
Maksimov keeping moving, preventing Fletcher from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fletcher gets to his feet - Maksimov follows without any prompting.

Fletcher tries to keep at a distance but Maksimov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Maksimov gets control of Fletcher's arms and successfully pulls guard. Maksimov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maksimov wants to get back to his feet but Fletcher is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Fletcher wants to control from the top but Maksimov keeps moving.
Maksimov looking for a sweep. Not yet Maksimov, not yet.
Maksimov looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Fletcher is defending well. Maksimov quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Fletcher has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Maksimov celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
