Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gage Asters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derek Patterson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A telegraphed right hand from Patterson misses the target.
Patterson looks to land a body kick but Asters moved away.
Asters swinging wilding here.
Patterson tries to close the distance and clinch but Asters swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Asters avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Patterson misses with a two punch combination.
Patterson wants to clinch up but Asters keeps it at a distance.
Patterson tries to clinch but Asters is having none of it.
Patterson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Asters drives through with a takedown into guard.
Patterson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Asters throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Patterson's body to avoid the submission. Patterson has instead reached around Asters's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Patterson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
