The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guldhammer blocks a jab.
Iceman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Iceman throws a leg kick which misses Guldhammer's front leg but catches the back leg as Guldhammer tries to avoid it.
Charles Iceman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Guldhammer counters with a single leg into guard. Iceman didn't expect that.
Guldhammer prevents Iceman from getting back to his feet.
Iceman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Iceman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guldhammer is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iceman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Guldhammer throws a strike but Iceman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Iceman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Guldhammer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Guldhammer closes the distance and pushes Iceman back into the cage.
Iceman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Guldhammer is defending well for now.
Guldhammer blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A frustrated look appears on Iceman's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Iceman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Iceman just misses with a elbow thrown towards Guldhammer's brow.
Guldhammer prevents Iceman from breaking the clinch.
Iceman swings wildly with an uppercut but Guldhammer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Iceman misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Guldhammer.
Guldhammer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Iceman fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Guldhammer counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Iceman badly! He tries to strike back but Guldhammer puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Iceman out cold! Oh man, Iceman will never hear the end of this one!
