PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micah Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Zyba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zyba has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Adam Zyba will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zyba feints and as Jacobson raises his hands in defense, Zyba changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jacobson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Zyba won't allow Jacobson to get back to his feet.

Jacobson pushes Zyba off and scrambles back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jacobson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Zyba is trying to keep an underhook but Jacobson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Jacobson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zyba is just riding it out for now. Jacobson eventually gives up the hold.

Jacobson pushes Zyba off and scrambles back to his feet.
