The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dean misses with a low kick.
Dean blocks a head kick by Hemsworth.
Hemsworth shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hemsworth trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hemsworth wants to stand and escape but instead Dean has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hemsworth looks winded!
Hemsworth looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dean has picked Hemsworth up and slammed him! Hemsworth can't keep hold of the triangle and Dean manages to pass to side control!
Dean stands up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hemsworth throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dean tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hemsworth is in Dean's guard.
Dean looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hemsworth is one step ahead there.
Dean is controlling Hemsworth's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hemsworth throws a big right hand that misses.
Dean is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Dean stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hemsworth to get to his feet.
Hemsworth looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dean misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dean throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hemsworth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dean manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Dean is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hemsworth defends well.
Dean seems keen to control Hemsworth's posture.
Dean wants to sweep but no luck.
Hemsworth throws an elbow that misses. Dean uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hemsworth's guard. Nice move by Dean!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dean's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dean decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Dean shoots in and gets a takedown into Hemsworth's guard.
Hemsworth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hemsworth has momentary wrist control but Dean slips an elbow through the middle.
Dean decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dean swinging wildly here.
Hemsworth shoots in and bounces Dean off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dean has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hemsworth doesn't defend quickly enough and Dean has managed to lock this one up! Can Hemsworth escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Dean on a fantastic submission victory.
