PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregers Westerberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Westerberg comes to the cage accompanied by Maitre Gims - J'me Tire. Wallace has chosen Uprising as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Gregers Westerberg has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gregers Westerberg seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westerberg shoots in for a takedown but Wallace shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Westerberg throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wallace avoids a punch combination nicely.
Westerberg throws a series of punches but Wallace avoids them all with ease.
Westerberg looks to land a combination but Wallace avoids it well.
Wallace fails with a takedown attempt.
Westerberg shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Westerberg looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wallace takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like William Wallace has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wallace throws a wild body kick that Westerberg sees coming a mile off.
Westerberg misses with a hook. Wallace ducked under it nicely.
Westerberg tried to score with a low kick but Wallace checks it.
Wallace swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wallace connects with a single shot there.


Gregers Westerberg's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Westerberg throws a combination that misses

and Wallace decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Westerberg's guard.
Westerberg thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Westerberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wallace manages to get himself to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William Wallace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
