PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jericho Datu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pee Wee Herman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Jerk Off In Theatres. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Datu looks to land a combination but Herman avoids it well.

Herman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Datu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Herman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Herman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Herman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Herman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Datu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Herman shoots in but no luck this time.
Herman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Datu tries to avoid it but Herman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Datu to the ground. Datu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Datu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Herman has his foot on Datu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Datu works his way back into a safe position though.

Herman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Datu is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Herman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Datu's back instead.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Herman goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Datu turns into him and now he's in Herman's guard.

Herman has instead reached around Datu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Herman arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
