The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materson shoots in looking for a takedown. Victorious tries to sprawl out of it but Materson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Victorious manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Victorious will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Materson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Victorious has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Materson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Victorious has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Materson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Victorious has tightened it up now! Materson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
