Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Prince Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Leslie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marty Leslie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Prince Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marty Leslie!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Leslie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kelly to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Leslie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kelly working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Kelly drops back, looking for a kneebar! Leslie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Leslie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Leslie!

Kelly wants to control but Leslie postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leslie is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ground and pound from Leslie seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Kelly is trying to control Leslie's posture but Leslie avoids it.

Kelly tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Kelly is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kelly wants to control but Leslie is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Kelly preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ground and pound from Leslie.
Kelly wants to get back to full guard.
Kelly trying to control but Leslie postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kelly shoots for a takedown but Leslie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kelly misses with a straight right.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kelly throws the kick towards the body but Leslie avoids it.
Kelly tries for a takedown but Leslie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kelly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kelly tries to stand but can't do so whilst Leslie controls his leg.
Kelly misses with a head shot. Leslie uses the momentum to regain guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kelly wants to stand and escape but instead Leslie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Kelly had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Leslie defends it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Leslie throws a big right hand that misses.
Leslie working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Marty Leslie will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


An inside leg kick lands from Kelly.
Kelly chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Kelly drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leslie dodges the ground and pound from Kelly.

Kelly swings around for an armbar but Leslie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kelly's guard.
Leslie is breathing heavily.

Kelly trying to control the position.
Kelly tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kelly not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Leslie scoring with some ground and pound.
Kelly has control of Leslie's left arm, preventing Leslie from doing any damage.
Kelly looking to hit a scissor sweep but Leslie is one step ahead there.
Leslie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kelly has momentary wrist control but Leslie slips an elbow through the middle.
Leslie throwing strikes from guard but Kelly blocks nicely.
Kelly working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Leslie.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kelly drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Leslie gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kelly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Leslie avoids the head kick by Kelly.
Kelly shoots and misses

and Leslie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Leslie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kelly with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kelly avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Leslie.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kelly tries to roll over but Leslie keeps him under control.
Kelly trying to control but Leslie postures up.
Leslie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kelly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Leslie is working away from the top position though.
Kelly is looking to improve his position.
Leslie drops an elbow to the side of Kelly's head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kelly on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Leslie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kelly has hold of Leslie's hands but Leslie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.


Kelly is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Marty Leslie will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Kelly looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leslie trying to control from the bottom.
Kelly tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Kelly thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Leslie's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kelly is working for a submission of some sort.
Leslie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly tries to stand and escape but Leslie is controlling the position.
Leslie tries to get to full guard but Kelly has control of the leg.
It looks like Kelly is going to stand back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Leslie circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kelly fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kelly throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kelly moves into the clinch.
Kelly has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Kelly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A telegraphed right hand from Kelly misses the target.
Kelly motions for Leslie to come forward. Kelly throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kelly, right into the meat.
Kelly jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice sprawl there from Leslie as Kelly shoots in.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kelly throws a head kick that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Prince Kelly showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Leslie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
