Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ceaser Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Slate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slate misses with a takedown
and Gracie counters with a left and a right that stings Slate.
Slate connects with a nice looking jab.
Slate misses with a low kick.
Slate shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control.
Gracie tries to advance to mount but Slate denies him.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Slate knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Slate sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Slate tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Slate desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Slate is defending well.
Slate tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slate is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Slate wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slate is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Gracie is looking to advance position but Slate won't allow it.

Gracie works his foot free and advances to mount.
Slate is trying desperately to improve position.

Gracie is working for a guillotine from mount but Slate frees his head quite easily.
Slate tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Slate is trying to roll into a better position but Gracie has get a rear naked choke and Slate is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
