Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garnett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Garnett moves out of range as Gouken strikes.

Gouken gets a double leg takedown into Garnett's guard.
Garnett has Gouken pulled in close to control his posture.
Garnett tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gouken is looking to work some ground and pound but Garnett has wrist control.
Gouken won't allow Garnett to sweep him here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Garnett holds on and takes a little breather.
Garnett is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gouken regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Garnett.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gouken is not content to let Garnett control the position.

Gouken clobbers Garnett with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Garnett walks into a left hand.
Garnett lands a lovely overhand right.
Garnett scores with the left hand. Gouken knows he should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Garnett throws a push kick but Gouken slaps the foot to one side.
Garnett misses with a wild body shot.
Scott Gouken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gouken lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gouken throws a chopping leg kick but Garnett manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Gouken shoots for a takedown but Garnett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gouken takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Garnett looks to land a left hand but Gouken moved out of range nicely.

The crowd cheers as Gouken lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garnett doesn't seem phased though.

Garnett has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Gouken throws a series of punches but Garnett avoids them all with ease.
Gouken throws a shot from downtown. Garnett moves away and avoids it.
Gouken takes a swing at Garnett's ribcage but misses.
Garnett cracks the inside of Gouken's front leg.
Garnett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gouken.
Garnett lands with a nice body punch.
Gouken throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Gouken's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Garnett crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gouken - the referee stops the clock and Garnett gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gouken. Garnett manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gouken lands with an uppercut that bounces Garnett off the cage and back into range.
Garnett is still on wobbly legs! Can Gouken finish him?
Gouken closes the distance but Garnett moves to the side
and Garnett connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gouken connects with a stiff jab that staggers Garnett - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Scott Gouken gave a mention to Elite Canadian Threads in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
