Adams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My World. Ricard is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Frank The Tank. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricard moves away from the strike by Adams.
Ricard looks to land a combination but Adams avoids it well.
Ricard throws a nice looking combination but Adams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ricard lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Lawrance Adams has been cut.
Ricard scores with a decent looking hook.
Adams dodges the punch combination from Ricard.
Adams throws a right and a left that Ricard avoids nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Adams. Those never looked like landing.
Ricard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adams pinned against the cage. Adams gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No joy there for Ricard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Adams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ricard.

Ricard gets in close and instigates a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Ricard has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Adams uses from the top position.
Ricard controls Adams momentarily but Adams frees himself.

Ricard tries to circle away but Adams has him pinned against the cage.
Ricard throws a head punch that misses.

Ricard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Adams throws a nice looking combination but Ricard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Good standup being displayed there by Adams as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Frank Ricard has been cut.
A bone on bone clash there as Ricard blocks the leg kick.

Adams misses with a hook.

Adams scores with the left hand. Ricard knows he should have avoided that one.

enabling Adams to counter with a crisp jab.

A less than humble Lawrance Adams misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
