Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Donaldson misses.
Cote drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cote stops Donaldson from standing up.
Donaldson keeping full guard, as Cote tries to pass.
Cote is pushing down on Donaldson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Donaldson is fighting to maintain full guard but Cote has managed to sneak the leg through.
Donaldson pushes Cote off looking to stand but Cote dives back in and keeps control.
Cote wants to free his trapped foot but Donaldson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cote slips under a jab.
Cote has a takedown stuffed.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cote jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Donaldson walks away with a smile on his face. Cote gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cote shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Donaldson pinned against the cage. Donaldson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Riley Cote. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Donaldson drops Cote with a right and a left! Donaldson comes rushing in but Cote regains his composure and manages to keep Donaldson in guard.
It looks like Riley Cote has been cut.
Cote working for submissions but it's allowed Donaldson to get to half guard.

Donaldson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Donaldson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Donaldson moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Cote.
Cote is breathing heavily.
Donaldson decides to stand back up.

Donaldson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Donaldson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Donaldson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Donaldson lands an overhand right.
Cote is rocked!
Cote avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oh Cote is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Donaldson misses with an uppercut.
Donaldson throws the left hand but Cote avoids the punch easily.
Donaldson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Cote falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
