The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Offley is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Offley takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Offley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
