PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antoni Hardonk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardonk comes into the arena with Requiem for a dream blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan tries a head kick but it misses.

Hardonk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morgan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Morgan tries to bench press Hardonk off him but Hardonk keeps the position.

Rock Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hardonk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Morgan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hardonk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Morgan's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hardonk tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it.

Hardonk shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Morgan's guard.

Morgan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hardonk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Morgan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hardonk is defending against the submission attempts here by Morgan.
