Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Elias Eberhard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Oath!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oath throws a looping overhand right but Eberhard ducks down to avoid it.
Oath lands a leg kick that knocks Eberhard off balance momentarily.
Oath fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Eberhard is out of range.
Eberhard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oath was well out of range. Poor timing from Eberhard.
Oath comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Eberhard bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Eberhard takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ken Oath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eberhard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oath was well out of range. Poor timing from Eberhard.
Some bone on bone action there as Eberhard checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Eberhard shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Eberhard showed some decent athleticism there.
Oath moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eberhard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Oath's guard.

Oath keeping moving, preventing Eberhard from controlling successfully.

Oath tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Eberhard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Oath controls Eberhard momentarily but Eberhard frees himself.
Eberhard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Oath looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Eberhard engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Oath throws a body punch but Eberhard moves out of range.
Eberhard works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
Oath looks to land a body kick but Eberhard moved away.
Oath throws a left and a right that both miss
and Eberhard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Oath tries to land a body kick
and Eberhard counters with a big right hand! Oh Oath is in trouble here! Eberhard follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elias Eberhard!
Elias Eberhard looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Roman heritage, my ass. I'm bringing this belt up north!!'.
